Sheds are welcome in Marine Creek Hills V HOA if certain criteria is met... please review the restrictions below:
All sheds must go through the ACC review process and be approved by the HOA. Once approved by the HOA, you'll then apply for a building permit with the City of Fort Worth. When the building permit is approved by the city, you'll need to provide a copy of the approved permit to the HOA. Once these steps are completed, the shed may be constructed and placed in your yard.
BUILDING MATERIALS GUIDELINES:
- Exterior cladding must be constructed of wood, vinyl, or aluminum. Metal sheds are not allowed.
- Vinyl Sheds are allowed with a maximum height of 7 feet at the peak of the roof.
- Constructed Sheds may be no larger than 8 feet x 10 feet, with a 9-foot maximum at the peak of the roof.
- Prohibited Elements: No fiberglass materials are allowed, and no metal roofing is allowed.
- Sheds must include a solid floor, either a concrete slab or suitable building material. Dirt or gravel floors are not permitted.
- Flat roofs are not permitted, your shed must have a sloped roof (if visible above the fence line to any of your surrounding neighbors).

STEP 2 - APPROVAL PROCESS:
Once you're ready to get a shed, please submit to the HOA:
- An image of the shed & it's dimensions: Photos, drawings, or even a product catalog image that shows front, rear, and side views of the proposed shed. They need to be accompanied by the dimensions (including the height) of the shed.
- A site plan: This is a scaled drawing that shows the size of your lot, the size and location of your house (including the garage), and the size and location of the proposed shed (relative to property lines and easements).
Once the HOA has a chance to review it, they'll let you know if it is approved. If approved, you may then proceed to the City of Fort Worth and apply for a building permit.
When the building permit is received, please submit a copy to the HOA and proceed with the installation of your shed.
